The University of Lower Silesia together with the Primary School No. 90 and in collaboration with the Regional Representation of the European Commission, are pleased to invite you to participate in the conference Inclusion. Educational Challenge and Opportunities, which takes place at University of Lower Silesia on October 4, 2017.
We will focus on such issues as the accessibility of our schools to children with disabilities and special needs, lesson planning and evaluation in classrooms in which children with very different cognitive abilities learn, as well as possible models of cooperation between teachers, pedagogues and parents in realizing the model of inclusive schooling. Undoubtedly, inclusion changes teaching and learning in schools and we warmly invite you to share your experiences with us and learn from other practitioners.
During one full day, we aim to provide space and expertise that will help you to build knowledge, share fruitful ideas, and encourage networks that will enable you, your schools and your teacher colleagues to explore the chances of inclusion. The morning will be dedicated to panel discussions and input from education researchers, practitioners and parents that are experienced with the topic of including children with special needs into mainstream education. In the afternoon, you will be able to choose from various hands-on workshops. They will cover such topics as building a responsive class council, anti-discrimination education, theatre pedagogy, personalized learning, and many other topics.
The official language of the conference is Polish.
